CLEAR-VUE comprises of a group of dedicated professional optometrists
who have a deep sense of social consciousness and are committed to
providing quality yet affordable optometric and related services to
communities who do not have the necessary resources available to them in
order to receive such services.

Background
CLEAR-VUE was established after in depth studies and research was
conducted with people from all walks of life in order to assess what
need and infra structure facilities existed, for those with eye care
problems.
Our studies revealed that there were a large number of people who were employed in various industries and who were not performing at their best because of poor eyesight.
We found that within this particular economic sector there existed a dire need for proper eye care management and treatment. The issue of costs of such optometric services was the key influencing factor against people attending to their optometric needs and requirements timeously.
We also discovered that very often people simply could not afford to take the necessary time off from work in order to attend to their optometric requirements.
Our research also revealed that accessibility of optometric services was lacking within certain communities.
Following the results of our research, a decision was taken to establish a concern which would attempt to redress some of the problems as referred to earlier which certain communities were facing.
Consequently CLEAR-VUE was established to provide a comprehensive eye care package to the patient, at minimal cost and which is easily accessible to the patients, without the patient losing any valuable time away from work.
CLEAR-VUE has already commenced such partnerships in Cape Town in particular in Elsie’s River, where we have built up a reputation for providing excellent service to patients at the best possible prices. Elsie’s River Hospital refers patients directly to us, primarily because of our commitment towards quality and the effective delivery of the services, which we render.
